If you work, live, or play in downtown San Diego, you probably enjoy having so many stores, services, and activities just a few blocks away. Who wants to fight traffic for 20 minutes just to shop, see a movie, or go to a tanning salon or day spa? I know I like being able to catch some sunshine in my favorite tanning salon, or get a new outfit, right during my lunch hour. Or as soon as I get off work, so I can get on to the dinner/party/date/fun times!
If you're downtown and want to fit in a tan, while shopping or before an evening out - Make sure you get pampered, but don't pay too much!

Many things can be expensive downtown, because you're paying for the convenience. But if you search for discounts, and ask you friends what they thought was a good deal, then you can usually get quality for a reasonable price.
