I was pretty upset when I showed up for my tanning appointment and was turned away! My dad and stepmom had let me get my summer tan started at a San Diego tanning salon, but my mom was not supportive. My mom called the tanning salon and said that since she had custody of me ( I am under 18) she wanted to cancel my tanning bed appointment. I was so upset. My dad said we should take the high road and think of another solution. I was hesitant of spray tanning at first. I knew it was totally different than an indoor tan. I decided to try what they call "airbrush tanning" and I didn't hate it. If you go to an experienced esthetician it comes out very natural. It was way better than starting the season all pale.
